Lola is the main female protagonist of the story, alongside the male lead, Alex. She has been trapped in the Hinterland for 300 years, and she keeps with her a powerful secret. Alex is enamored of her the moment they meet, but then again so is everyone else when they meet her. There’s way more to her than meets the eye, though, as Alex discovers soon enough.
